Hello! My name is Merritt Wurts and I am a junior Engineering Sciences - Mechanical major at Yale University. I am very passionate about mechanical design. On the side from engineering, I frequently take architecture classes. I like the synthesis of these two topics and would like to pursue it in the future. I was inspired to study Mechanical Engineering due to a reflection on what I enjoyed in highschool and the games I enjoyed as a child. Legos, Rokenbock, and building extravagant hot wheels tracks set the stage for this interest. In highschool I loved robotics, physics, and computer science and am enjoying furthering my knowledge in all of these topics in my major at Yale.
