Piper Jackman

I’m a Junior at Yale double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Humanities (with a concentration in art history). I’m from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I went to boarding school at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware (where Dead Poet’s Society and an episode of The West Wing were filmed!). I, despite my time away, remain a big Pittsburgh sports fan. Outside of class, I produce and stage manage theater productions, I skate with Yale Club Figure Skating, I am the Master of Imposition for the Guild of Bookmakers, and I play card games with my friends. Some other fun facts about me are that I play the bagpipes, I know Latin and Ancient Greek, I love hiking and backpacking, specifically in Rocky Mountain National Park, my team and I are the 3-time reigning champions of Jonathan Edwards College’s Harry Potter Trivia Night, and my life’s ambition is to live in New York City.
