Boris Katafygiotis

Hi my name is Boris Katafygiotis, and I grew up in both Hong Kong (first 13 years) and Greece (next 4-5 years). I am a junior at Yale College studying Mechanical Engineering on the ABET track. Coming from a line of engineers in my family, I grew up having insparation to study the field myself. Ranging from building remotes and TV’s with my grandpa, to doing larger and indepent projects in both highschool and at college.  I also moved away from my family at the age of 13 to go to greece with just my brother to persue my other passion of sports, and more specifically basketball and rowing where I was part of the national team for the latter.
